Who is responsible for your data

Two organisations decide what happens to the personal data behind an event on Parasztsuli, so both are responsible for it. This page says which decisions belong to which — that is what the law calls a joint-controller arrangement, and you are entitled to know its substance.

The organizer

The person or group running the event decides that it happens, who is invited, and what attendees are asked for. Every question on a response form is theirs. So is the decision to add somebody from a list rather than wait for them to answer, and the decision to keep notes about who is coming.

Documenting the event is theirs as well. When photographs or other information are gathered while an event runs, it is the organizer who decided to gather it and what to collect — including where it concerns other people who were present. They are responsible for that data and answer for it.

For all of that, Parasztsuli acts on their instruction and does not decide anything itself. What Parasztsuli does decide on its own — how long a record or a photograph is kept, and what erasing it means — is set out below.

Parasztsuli

Parasztsuli decides the things no organizer chose: how long data is kept and when it is erased, what erasure means, how accounts work, what the platform itself asks for, and the terms under which any of it is offered. Those are our decisions, and we answer for them.

We do not use what you told an organizer for anything of our own. Answers given to an event are used to run that event and are not read, aggregated or profiled for the platform's purposes. That is a hard limit on the software, not a preference.

Where to send a request

Write to the organizer of the event you took part in. Their address is on the event's terms page, and it is the first contact for anything about that event — what is held about you, correcting it, removing it, or objecting to being on the list at all.

For anything Parasztsuli decided — how long things are kept, your account, this platform's own terms — or if an organizer does not answer, write to info@parasztsuli.hu. You may use either route for any request: the law lets you exercise your rights against either of us, and we will not send you back and forth.
